Written by John Ridley and Sarah Smith, BLACK WATER: ABYSS acts as the follow-up to the 2007 underground horror film, BLACK WATER. Check out the official trailer below. Starring Jessica McNamee (The Meg), Luke Mitchell (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Amali Golden (Bloom), Benjamin Hoetjes (The Code), and Anthony J. Sharpe (Robert the Bruce), the film arrives later this summer.
Premise: In BLACK WATER: ABYSS, a group of friends explore a remote cave system deep in the forests of Northern Australia when a tropical storm hits. As rising flood waters trap them deep below the surface, something even deadlier emerges from the darkness – killer crocodiles.
BLACK WATER: ABYSS will drop in theaters and On Demand August 7, 2020.
